Prince Albert, in Paris for the Paralympic Games, meets Mayor Anne Hidalgo.

Over the past few days, Prince Albert II of Monaco has been in Paris for the Paralympic Games, even though the Principality does not have a delegation at the Games. ‘It’s a great opportunity to see these fine athletes, an example of courage, determination and passion’, said the Monegasque head of state to justify his presence.

After meeting Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée Palace on the afternoon of 28 August, Prince Albert II also met Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo at the Hôtel de Ville. He then took his place in the official grandstand on Place de la Concorde to watch the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games.
